Cornerstone Announces AlarmPayments.com

Cornerstone Billing, a leading provider of billing and payment processing services to the security industry, today announced the launch of their secure online payment portal for subscribers to pay their bills online.

The program allows dealers using Cornerstone's real-time billing system and software to offer their subscribers a fast, easy, secure way to pay their security bills online.

“Many of our dealers are getting asked by their subscribers how they can pay their bills online,” said Scott MacDougal, president of Cornerstone. “But, it's expensive for dealers to set this up on their own, so we decided to launch this site. Now, our dealers can simply add a link on their websites pointing to www.AlarmPayments.com, or verbally refer their subscribers to the site. The beauty of it is that the payment portal links directly to the billing software’s invoice data, so subscribers can see their unpaid invoices, click on the ones they want to take care of, and proceed to pay with a credit card or bank debit. It inexpensively solves the problem of more people wanting to pay bills online.”

Cornerstone offers full-service billing, including industry-specialized software and payment processing services (paper check, credit card, ACH debit and online payments). The company also offers more limited services, such as print-mail and data conversion to assist companies with software upgrades. For full-service customers, the Cornerstone’s service includes a real-time, online system that gives the dealer complete, day-to-day control over their customer database.

"Our real-time system is very similar to dealer access systems offered by most central stations," MacDougal said. "Our dealers can add and cancel accounts, post payments, create service invoices, and even run their service and installation departments using our system. By handling most of the routine invoicing and payment processing chores for them, we free up many hours of staff time each month.
